The Tasmanian Community Fund, in partnership with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) and Clubs Tasmania, is offering a series of free grant writing workshops in June for anyone wanting to build their confidence in accessing funding.

Whether you’re new to grant writing or looking to refine your skills, these workshops are a great opportunity to learn practical tips, explore what funders are looking for and gain a better understanding of how to craft compelling applications.

Participants will learn how to identify the right funding opportunities, understand eligibility and application requirements, clearly define project goals and outcomes and strengthen their case for support.

These friendly, accessible workshops are suitable for volunteers, community groups, sporting clubs and not-for-profit organisations of all kinds.

Upcoming Workshops include:

  • Monday 2 June – Riverside Golf Club, 5pm to 7pm
  • Tuesday 3 June – Burnie Surf Life Saving Club, 5pm to 7pm
  • Wednesday 4 June – Wynyard Sailing Club, 5pm to 7pm
  • Wednesday 25 June – Glenorchy Football Club, 11am to 1pm
  • Wednesday 25 June – Kingborough Football Club (Twin Ovals), 5pm to 7pm

Sessions are free to attend, but bookings are essential.

Come along to ask questions, build your confidence and connect with others doing great work in your community.
