Youth Impact Group

The TCF is seeking applications from young Tasmanians aged 14 -19 years to join our Youth Impact Group!

The Youth Impact Group (YIG) is a team of up to nine young Tasmanians aged 14-19 who come together to share their ideas, advice, and unique perspectives with the TCF Board. The YIG will help decide what the TCF should fund and how this happens.

The aim of YIG is to:

• give young people a say in voicing their insights on matters and issues that are important to them and that are related to the work of the Tasmanian Community Fund;
• ground the Tasmanian Community Fund’s funding strategy through the voices of young people; and
• empower young people to make recommendations about funding for projects that are important to them.
