Dollars awarded

The Board has awarded more than $152million in grants to over 3,310 projects across the state.

Community

There have been a total of 25 community members (including 4 Chairs) appointed to the Board since 2000. Plus, an additional 5 Intern Directors.

Applications assessed

The Board has assessed more than 9,900 grant applications for funding.

Chairperson

There have been four Chairpersons: Gerald Loughran from June 2000 to December 2009, Lynn Mason from December 2009 to December 2016, Sally Darke from January 2017 to December 2024 and Kym Goodes from January 2025

Establishment of TCF

The Tasmanian Community Fund was established from the proceeds from the sale of a community asset - the Trust Bank.

First funding round

The first funding round was in 2000.
