Welcome Leanne Johannesen

We are excited to welcome Leanne Johannesen as our new client manager!

Leanne has a background in community development and project management, most of it in the not for profit sector.

Having come to Tasmania from Wales on a five-month secondment 12 years ago, Leanne is still here and has a deep appreciation and affection for our island state.

Leanne said she was really excited about the opportunity to work at the Tasmanian Community Fund because she loves how it makes a genuine impact in the community.

“Supporting local initiatives and being part of projects that promote engagement and wellbeing truly speaks to my heart. It feels great to be part of a team that’s all about positive change,” Leanne said.

“I can’t wait to dive in and start building relationships with our clients and I’m really looking forward to assisting our funded organisations on projects that enhance student engagement and wellbeing.”

Outside of work Leanne enjoys an outdoor lifestyle with her family, including donning the red and yellow at Clifton Beach as a dedicated surf lifesaver.
