Hot pizzas a hit at Yolla District School

It was a showery day but smiles all round from Yolla District School’s Hands on Learning students and teachers at the grand opening of their new pizza oven in April.

They were joined by North-West based TCF Directors Mat Greske and Mike Buckby to sample the delicious pizzas!

The student built pizza oven is part of the Hands on Learning program, which is funded by the TCF.

Hands on Learning is a practical in-school program that builds engagement, wellbeing and attendance by creating opportunities for students to discover their talents and experience success through significant and authentic hands-on projects.

Thanks to all those who came together to help the students bring this project to life.
