Welcome Intern Director Ana
The Tasmanian Community Fund welcomes Dr Ana Klincic Andrews as the 2025/26 Intern Director, who joins with a wealth of experience across community development, corporate governance and international sustainability.
A Tasmanian of post-conflict migrant background, Ana’s career has spanned roles throughout Australia, Africa and Asia.
Her professional and personal experiences have shaped a strong commitment to inclusive leadership, community empowerment and transparent governance. Ana has held senior roles with Hydro Tasmania, pitt&sherry and MMG Limited, leading complex initiatives focused on environmental, social and governance performance and stakeholder engagement.
Internationally, she has worked with the United Nations on sustainable development programs, managed large-scale funding portfolios and served as an evaluator and advisor to initiatives that promote financial independence, innovation and youth empowerment.
Locally, Ana has contributed to Tasmanian governance and community organisations, serving on the Hobart City Council’s Sustainability in Infrastructure Portfolio Committee and the board of NOSS Tasmania.
She also co-founded the Cross Sector Development Partnership Initiative through the Melbourne Business School to foster collaboration between corporate and community sectors.
Ana’s appointment as the TCF’s Intern Director builds on her recent completion of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course and her growing board experience.
Ana said the role offered a rare opportunity to learn directly from an experienced board in a community-focused environment.
“I am particularly drawn to the TCF’s mission of equity and locally led development,” she
said.
“This represents a chance to contribute meaningfully while deepening my understanding of Tasmania’s diverse communities.
“Through the internship, I hope to strengthen my practical governance skills, gain insight into how boards assess risk, track impact and ensure long-term public value.
“Beyond the program, I aspire to broaden my governance experience by contributing to boards focused on equity, disability inclusion and sustainability.”
Ana has been appointed as Intern Director for twelve months and during this time will be mentored by the TCF Chairperson.
