TCF Visits the Central Highlands

decoration

The Tasmanian Community Fund Board and staff spent a couple of days in the Central Highlands getting a better understanding of community, the issues and challenges and the opportunities and strengths.

Our thanks to the Central Highlands community for welcoming us and being so open to talking to us and sharing their experiences.  We have really appreciated the opportunity to get to know the communities of Hamilton, Ouse, Bothwell and Miena a little better.

Through their Board meeting, TCF Board members were able to hear from the Central Highlands Council, Miena Village, Ash Cottage and Bothwell District High School.  Thank you for sharing your stories and insights with us. Board and staff members were also able to chat to community members, business owners/managers and visitors. We thank everyone for connecting with us.

Thanks also to Central Highlands Council for hosting us in Bothwell and Hamilton.
