The Tasmanian Community Fund Board is delighted to welcome Prajit Parameswar as Intern Director.  Prajit commenced his Intern Director role in January and will be mentored by TCF Board Chairperson, Sally Darke, through until October 2023.

Prajit grew up in India and has settled in Tasmania for the last 16 years, a place which he, his wife and daughter now call home. 
Prajit has embedded himself in the Tasmanian community as a founding Board President for the Summerleas Eagles Cricket Club, is currently the Chairperson of the Huon Channel Cricket Association and co-owns two locally run businesses with a strong philanthropic purpose.

Prajit is a graduate of the University of Tasmania, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).  Prajit’s experience and qualifications have helped him strengthen his financial acumen, commercial and strategic stakeholder management skills.  Prajit Parameswar currently works at Hydro Tasmania and has over fourteen years of experience in the renewable energy industry.

Through the Intern Director Role, Prajit expects to strengthen his capacity and capability to serve on Boards, helping continue his community leadership journey with drive and passion.
