Grant Recipient of the Month:
The Launceston Walking Club Inc
In 2005, the TCF held a special Preserving and Promoting Tasmania’s Cultural Heritage funding round. Under that round, funding of $2 million was allocated to 31 projects around the State which increased awareness and enjoyment of Tasmania’s past.

One of the recipients was the Launceston Walking Club. The club received $30,500 to preserve its collection of film and slide archives, and create DVDs from those archives.
