Application Form & Guidelines - General Grants Program
Grant Round No. 16.
Guidelines
Grant Round 16 is open from 16 February to 27 March 2008.
As you can appreciate, there are always more applications for worthy projects than the Tasmanian Community Fund (TCF) has funds to grant. We strongly suggest you read the guidelines thoroughly before completing the application.
These Guidelines and Forms are available below:
Completing the form
To be considered for a grant, applicants must provide details in relation to each of the issues and questions outlined in the Grant Application.
The application must be set out under the headings in the Grant Application. All sections of the form must be completed.
Maximum - 4 typed pages
Due to the large number of applications received it is imperative that your application does not exceed four typed pages. This page limit does not include the Grant Application Cover Page or other supporting information such as the Financial Viability form, the Annual Report or Financial Statements.
Applications requesting near, or in excess of, $100 000
Support Letters
Support Letters may be attached to the application but are not a requirement.
Land or Building Projects
If a project involves improvements to land or buildings, details should be provided with regard to the ownership and/or leasehold arrangements of the land/buildings. If applicable, include documents that indicate the owner's support for alterations/improvements to the land/buildings. For example, if new playground equipment is being requested for a park, include a letter from the owner indicating their support for the proposal. Applicants are strongly encouraged to have approvals from Local Government, Environmental or other Authority prior to applying. Successful applicants without this approval will be required to gain the required approvals within a specified number of days.
Number of Copies
All applicants are required to submit the original and 7 double-sided copies of:
- a Grant Application Coversheet; and
- a typed Grant Application Form with information under each heading; and
- the Financial Viability Assessment form; and
- Business Plan (only if your application is near, or in excess of, $100 000).
In addition, the most recent Annual Report and the last three years financial statements (if produced) must be attached.
Closing date for applications
